Brenda Cook Patenaude

1927 – 2015

At Pointe Claire, Tuesday, September 29,

2015, Brenda (Cook) Patenaude died

peacefully with her family at her side, aged 88

years, surviving widow of Gerard “Gerry”

Patenaude. Brenda is survived by three sons

Allan (Pauline), Stephen and Lawrence “Larry”

(Nicole); seven grandchildren Martin, Nicolas,

Ryan, Erin (Mike), Brian (Amanda), Derek

(Chloe) and Shirley Rossi (Adam); and four

great-grandchildren Sebastian, Jake, Mason

and Logan. Brenda will be remembered for

her love and unwavering dedication to her

family, and is now reunited with her husband

Gerry, the love of her life for the last 68 years.

Brenda was predeceased by her parents

Craig William Cook and May Stella Coleman;

two brothers and their spouses Gerald

(Anastasia “Stella” Martin) and Douglas

(Mary Granda). Also predeceased by her in-

laws Roland Patenaude (The´re`se Houle),

Maurice (Marie-Ange Coˆ t e´ ) , Claire

Patenaude and Madeleine (Lloyd Guenette).

She leaves behind many nieces, nephews,

friends and extended family. The family will

receive relatives and friends on Sunday,

October 4, 2015 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7

p.m. to 9 p.m. at Centre Fune´raire Coˆte des

Neiges. The funeral will be held Monday,

October 5, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Mary Queen of

Peace Church, 11075 Boul. Gouin O,

Pierrefonds, QC, H8Y 1X6. Burial will follow

later that day in the presence of close

relatives at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges
