It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carmela Panarello (Zompa) on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Beloved wife of Francesco for 70 years. Loving mother and mother in law of Angelo & Pauline, Claudio & Sharon, Roberto & Tammy. Cherished Nonna of Lauren, Stephanie and Marc, Carmela and Dimitri, Laura and Megan. Proud bisnonna of Elisabeth, Jack and Elianna. Adored sister of Antonietta and the late Michele, Pasquale and Gloria, the late Maria and the late Elio. She will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews, and all those who knew her.
A very special thanks to Dr. Donald Palisaitis, the cardiology clinic at the MUHC and the nephrology clinic at the MGH, for their exceptional care.

Visitation at Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525 Côte-des-Neiges on Monday, June 15 from 2pm-5pm and 7pm-9:30pm, and Tuesday, June 16 from 09h30am-11:30am. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 16 at St Richard’s Parish, 7070 Guelph Road, Cote St Luc, at 12:30pm.
