It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Celestino Pinto at the age of 94 on September 18, 2013, at Maimonides after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Beloved husband of Elisa (Silva), loving and devoted father of Maria Teresa (José), Frank (Rita) and John (Carole). Cherished grandfather of Nancy (Tony), Nelson (Laurie), Jason (Sheree), Ryan, Jessica, Alexandra, Amanda and Shawn. Dear great-grandfather to Sarah, Christian and Isabella. Pre-deceased by his brother Antonio Pinto (Adelaide). He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank the dedicated nurses and staff at Maimonides (3 South) for their compassion and care.
