David William Lynn

Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Long time veteran of the Montreal, Canadian and global meat industry (A&P, Weddel, and his own brokerage DWL Meats).

Born Verdun, Quebec June 06, 1928. Died peacefully at the CHSLD St. Margaret's Residence, Westmount, Quebec May 21, 2025. Loved and mourned by his children: Donna Kinlin (Ken), Sharon Lynn, Joanne Lynn Beullac (Pierre), and David Lynn Jr. (Susan Mailley). Cherished Poppy to his grandchildren: Laura Kinlin (Aaron Toth), John Kinlin, Ryan Coates, Jennifer Antoine (Shawn), Chantal Beullac Magnone (Michael), Julie Beullac, Nicky Beullac, Shannon Lynn, Kristen Lynn, and Bryan Lynn. Great-grandfather of Gavin and Henry Toth; Xavier Coates; Tessa Belanger and Ali Antoine; Leonardo, Vivienne and Penelope Magnone; and James Preston. Deeply missed by his sister Lorraine Church (late Tedd) and his brother Brian Lynn (Pauline Picard). Beloved Uncle Dave to his many nieces and nephews.

Friend and former spouse of the late Maureen Reed Lynn. Predeceased by his parents David Andrew Lynn and Mary McClure; and his brothers and sisters: Mae Smith (late Gordie), Ronnie (late Joyce Couston), Irene Matchett (late Norman), Audrey Baxter (late Jack), and Patsy Bentley (late Graham).

Family interment of ashes at Mount Royal Cemetery. Celebration of life and reception to be held Saturday July 05, 2025 1 PM at Le Centre Funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525 Ch De La Cote-Des-Neiges, Montreal, QC.

The family is very grateful to the caring and professional staff at the St. Margaret's Residence for their friendship and compassion, particularly in his last days. Warmest appreciation to the many friends who enriched his life, especially Peter White, and to Carol Todd, who was not just a caregiver but a friend.
