It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Denyse Cochrane (née Frenette), who left us peacefully on November 10, 2025. She now joins her parents Georges and Marie-Jeanne (née Tremblay) and her brother Clément (Jocelyne) in peace.
Denyse will be dearly missed by her devoted husband Richard, and her brother Paul (Lucie) and sister Thérèse, and her dear children Stefan (Joanne), Michael, and Ann-Marie (Patrick), and other cherished family members and friends.
Grandmaman Denyse also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Graham, Charlotte, Vivian, Katelyn and Elizabeth.
Denyse will be remembered for her passion for music, singing with Spectrum and at the St-Pat’s Showcases, and reading and for her love of service to the Montreal Institute of the Blind and the choir and chapel of adoration at St-Patrick of the Island Church.
The family would like to thank her caregivers (Rachna and Raksha) as well as the staff at the CHSLD Laurent-Bergevin for their compassionate care.
The funeral service will be held in the Spring.
In lieu of flowers, a donation for the repose of her soul to St-Patrick of the Island Church would be appreciated.
