With deep sadness we announce the passing of Diane Louise Chouinard, peacefully, on the 10th of December, 2025, at the age of seventy, following a hard-fought, courageous battle against numerous health issues.
She will be greatly missed by her sister, Joanne, her nephew Ryan (Alyssa), her great niece Adeline, and her great nephew Gabriel.
We wish to thank all the staff at CHSLD Chateau Westmount, where Diane spent the last year, for the wonderful and tender care they provided. Diane and her family were also blessed with dedication and excellent care from two private caregivers – Erica Simmons for several years, and Lourdes Manlulu, who has spent Diane’s last months with her with tenderness and devotion.
Visitation will take place on January 10th, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 1:45 p.m. at the Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 5610 Sherbrooke Street West, in Montreal. All are very welcome to attend. Burial will take place privately at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Old Brewery Mission in Montreal, or the charity of your choice, and would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
