Elmer was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose love, strength, and kindness touched the lives of many. He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his generosity of spirit, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.
He is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Evelyn Escabarte, and his children: Belshary Jhon Escabarte and his wife, Kristine Joy; Fretzebelle Escabarte and her spouse, Adrian; Merbel Escabarte and his spouse, Girlie; and Belzhamir Escabarte and his partner, Kia. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Kris Amador, Kaizen Storm, and Maria Pearl.
Elmer was preceded in death by his parents, Tomas and Elizabeth Escabarte. He is survived by his loving siblings, Emelyn, Jovelyn, Junaler, and Sharleen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Family, friends, and loved ones are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Elmer’s life at Centre Funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, located at 4525 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC H3V 1E7. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 16h00 to 21h30, and on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 09h00 to 19h00. The funeral mass will follow immediately on Friday evening from 19h00 to 20h00.
