Eufemia Arbolado

On Friday January 13 2023, Eufemia Arbolado passed away comfortably in the home of her nephew Joselito Santos and wife Delia Santos at the age of 84 years old
She will be lovingly remember by her many family members of the Carreons’, Davids’, Reyes’, and Santos’
Eufemia is predeceased by her parents Fortunato and Marta along with her 7 brothers and sisters: Vicente, Hilaria, Laura, Victoria, Anita, David and Cristina
Eufemia was born on March 20 1938 in Manila Philippines and through divine intervention she started her career as a teacher and eventually received the opportunity to teach in Canada where she retired from teaching from St Brendan school in Montreal
The decision to immigrate into Canada pioneered many family members the chance to immigrate as well for a better life
Eufemia was a devout Catholic and belonged to the Legion of Mary in the Philippines
She was a generous, kind person and someone that always thought of others. Her main priority was family and their well-being before her own
Apart from being with family, another joy was playing mahjong with her friends and family for many years
Eufemia is the last relative of the family’s generation and will be especially missed

Chapel Service: 5pm
