On July 10, 2012, after a lengthy illness, Evangeline Martha (Joyce) MacMillan was taken home to be with loved ones and her Lord. Daughter of Brigadiers Sidney and Jessie Joyce. She was the baby sister of John Joyce and Grace Joyce McDermid. She will be sadly missed by her best friend, partner and husband of 56 years, Murray MacMillan, her children, Stuart (Debra) and Donna (Peter) and grandchildren, Bethany, Matt, Alec and Erin. Many thanks to the staff on the 14th floor at the Montreal General where she has been since January. Visitation will be at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home on Friday, July 13 from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. A service will follow in their chapel at 1:30 pm.
Visitation will be also at Jerrett "North York" Funeral Home, Dignity Memorial, 6191 Yonge St., Toronto, ON, M2M 4K4, 416-223-6050, on Sunday, July 15 from 7 to 9 pm. A service will be held in their chapel on Monday, July 16 at 10 am followed by the interment at Mount-Pleasant Cemetery, in Toronto.
