Giustino Coletti, eighty-nine, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, October 8th, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of sixty-one years, Giuseppina Coletti (née D’Occhio), his loving son Nicola, his cherished granddaughters Amanda, Christina, and Alexa, his brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and many other relatives and friends.
Giustino lived a long, fulfilled life. The family’s beloved patriarch immigrated to Montreal for a better life in 1957 from Montenerodomo, Chietti, Italy. Upon his arrival to the country that became his home, he began his working career at Canadian National Railway at which he remained until his retirement. He will be remembered as a loyal, dedicated, family-oriented man who always put his family first. He was a proud veteran that had served for the elite Alpini Corps Division of his homeland army.
He passionately shared his traditions with his friends and family.
Giustino was a kind, gentle soul who always had a smile and a story for everyone.
He will forever remain in our hearts!
