Jane worked in the lab of Assoc Professor RAB Holland at the University of New South Wales for about 18 months, from February 1974, where I was working towards my PhD, until she decided she needed to go back home to Canada. I went with other friends to the airport to see her off. She was great fun, looks like she had a great life back home in Canada. I had a letter from her shortly after I moved to Philadelphia: I knew she had married. Well done Jane, a life well lived.

Our deepest condolences.  We shared many, many happy memories with Jane at both Montreal Children’s and during many wonderful  ski  weekends in the Mountains during our two years in Montreal. We have managed to stay in touch over the last 48 years.  She was a joy to know and will be missed.  Stay strong.  She will remain in our prayers.

A few words to express that I share your feelings of Jane's passage to another world.  She may have left us but she does continue to live in our minds and our hearts.  I feel the loss as if she was family.   Please accept my most sincere condolences.

i always thought our jane would out-live us all ; she had so much spunk  and zest for life.  i remember many bridge games ending in an abundance of mojitos with our gang  all together and those fun trips to toronto to catch up with the other part of the gang.  i will miss her and our good times together.
