Peacefully passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the age of 55. Beloved husband of 23 years to Kelly Ann Smith-Dabarno, he leaves to mourn his parents John and Elizabeth, his brothers Robert (Isabel) and Brian (Rosella), his parents-in-law Jim and Irene, his sisters-in-law Laura (Dave) and Julie (Alex), his niece and nephews, Thomas, Matthew, Felicia, Anthony, Garett and Jackson, as well as many other family and friends. John was a passionate photographer who loved to be surrounded by his family and friends. The family will receive condolences at the CENTRE FUNÉRAIRE CÔTE-DES-NEIGES, 4525 CÔTE-DES-NEIGES, MONTREAL, H3V 1E7, on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 3 to 5pm and from 7 to 9pm as well as on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 10 to 11am. The funeral service will follow at 11am in the Chapel of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the West Island Palliative Care Residence.
