It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of John de Pooter on November 1st, 2025. John is survived by his two children, Jason and Kelly, his three grandchildren, Evan, Mathew and Malcolm, his brother Gerry (Carole) and sisters Martine and Renee (Joe) and nieces and nephews Marc, Nick and Vivian.
Being both soft and strong is a combination very few have mastered and John was one of them.
He will be lovingly remembered by his family, friends, former colleagues and fellow Kinsmen.
Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff of the Sacre Coeur Hospital Neurology department.
A private memorial will take place for John in the months to come.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA or local pet society will be appreciated.
