Having Italian and Lebanese parents, Louis and Olga, he grew up in Ahuntsic with his older brother Freddy and baby sister Laura in a very close family environment. His family values defined him and his character was strong, decisive and organized. He attended McGill University where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Arts in 1972. Ken had an amazing career in the music industry, toy business and garment trade and was most fortunate to travel the world. His last position was that of President of Doris Intimates, where he will be sadly missed.Although he didn't have much time for hobbies, he was very active in sports, especially outdoor activities. Ken was an avid golfer at the Summerlea Golf and Country Club. Every weekend he played in a regular foursome of golfing buddies- Jim, John & Peter and he never missed an invite to a special tournament with Alex and corporate events representing Doris Inc.Ken was a true hunting and fishing afficionado. These activities he lovingly shared with the Verdoni family, father-Louis, brother-Freddy, his nephews and niece -Dino and wife Lee-Ann, Kevin & Michael & Sandra. Many funny stories were told time and time again and they would always bring a smile to his face.He lives behind his sister Laura, brother-in-law John, sister-in-law Lynda, his nephews and nieces, many extended relatives, collegues and devoted friends who stood by him throughout the years. I know he has left a mark on all of them and will always be remembered with such fondness. He met me, Dana, his loving wife on August 26, 1993 and stood by his side in sickness and in health. I will always cherish the times we spent together and the extra time I was blessed to have him with me-until his last breath. He is truly missed by my parents, Mario and Alice who gaze at his photo on their kitchen table each day.
He became very spiritual in his later years and attended mass regularily on Sundays. Our parish priest Father Pat, helped him along this journey. Although he wanted to do more for the community i.e."to give back", he was unable to achieve this goal. My promise to him, in his memory, I will.
