1942 – 2025
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Marika Markus announces her passing on November 20th, 2025, at the age of 83.
Marika will be dearly missed by her children Mary Helen Boda (Brian Lewis), and Susie Boda (Alan Palmer), as well as by her grandchildren Evan Villavera, Matthew Villavera, Olivia Boda, Brianna Palmer, and Celia Palmer.
Visitation will be held at Côte-des-Neiges Funeral Home, 4525 Ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges, on Saturday, December 6th, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. A service to honour and celebrate Marika’s life will follow at 3:00 p.m.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff of the CHUM palliative care unit and cardiac ICU for their compassion and exceptional care.
