On Friday May 17, 2019 Donald Paul Kepron passed away peacefully in his sleep after a short illness with cancer.
Paul was born December 18, 1956 in Montreal and called the city home. Growing up in Pointe Claire, he spent weekends skiing at Mt. Tremblant, was an avid photographer and active member of the West Island Camera Club. His passion for photography resulted in a creative portfolio as well as several degrees, notably a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Master of Arts in Educational Technology from Concordia University and certificates from the Dawson College Institute of Photography in Figure Studies, Digital Video Effects, Portraiture and Creative Composition. He graduated with Honours from Dawson’s AEC Commercial Photography Program. He also received a Bachelor of Social Work degree from McGill University.
He loved classic rock from the 70’s, a great slice of pizza and the company of his camera club friends.
Paul is survived by, and kept forever in the hearts of, his father Dr. Donald Kepron, his mother Joan Kepron and his brothers Michael, David and John. He was predeceased by his brother Kevin in 1999. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sisters-in-law Ruth, Lu and Anne Marie as well as his nieces and nephews Marla, Jared, Nicole, Kristopher and Katie, Nick and Ben.
The family sincerely thank the nursing staff and doctors at St. Mary’s Hospital oncology department for their compassion and attentive care of Paul during his illness.
