It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pietro, a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, who passed away on September 13th, 2026, at the age of 66.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Anna, and his son, Joey (Laura), as well as his siblings, Angelo (Kim), Tina (Sammy), and Renato (Colleen), and his brother-in-law, Vince. He will be dearly missed by his beloved dog, Miyagi, who was a cherished part of his family, as well as his many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
For 40 years, Pietro dedicated himself to his work as a mechanic, taking great pride in being someone others could always count on. He was naturally handy and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether he was fixing something, offering advice, or simply being there when someone needed him, Pietro had a way of making himself useful and making life a little easier for those around him.
Family was at the heart of Pietro’s life. Some of his happiest memories were made by spending time with the people he loved. Year after year, he looked forward to family trips to Mont-Tremblant, creating traditions and memories that will be cherished for generations to come.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, relaxing on the patio, watching hockey, and especially cheering on the Montreal Canadiens. But above all, Pietro treasured the time he spent with his family.
Pietro will be remembered for his generous nature, hardworking spirit, willingness to help others, and unwavering love for his family. He was the kind of person people could turn to, knowing he would be there to lend a hand, fix what needed fixing, or simply share a moment together.
His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him, but the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
Forever loved, forever missed, and always remembered.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in Pietro’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
