Born Stamatoula Kypreos/Cypros in Montreal on December 8, 1931 she went home on January 30,2020 at the age of 88 from complications due to Alzheimer’s/Dementia.
She leaves behind her daughter Sophia Schellenberg (Andre), her sister Maria Botsaris (John), her brother Jacovos and cousins Petroula and Yanni in Greece, her neice Alexandra Psiharis (Costa) and wonderful, loving friends around the world.
She had a very difficult life yet she was an extremely kind, gentle, warm and selfless woman. She gave of herself to all who needed her. She loved her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and she lived a humble life in her faith. She touched people’s hearts from all walks of life.
Her suffering is over.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Montclair Residence of the Salvation Army for their care for the last two years but especially in the last days of her life. She died with dignity, thank-you. Also, to all of the friends of her faith that cared for her in her final days and hours, we are deeply grateful.
