OBITUARY

Theresa Murray

25 October, 19589 June, 2021

Passed away peacefully in Montréal. Predeceased by my parents, Francis Richard and Elizabeth Moore, and the best big brother a girl could ask for – Michael (Carol). Loving sister, cousin and a friend to many. To the love of my life, Mark, we always said now and forever that we’ll always be in each other’s hearts.

Special loving thanks to Catherine (Luigi) and Patricia (Michael) for their loving care and dedication throughout this well-fought battle where they never missed a step along this journey and were always there for me along with my long-time friend Linda. They always kept my spirits up and humour going. I will surely miss my colleagues and friends at McGill day care center.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Share the Warmth Foundation or the Missing Children Network.

To Mark, Murray family, and friends,
I extend my deepest sympathies on your loss. Thinking upon the "force" of Theresa, I will cherish these facets of our time together at CPE McGill; laughter, wit, zaniness, welcome, friendship, and always kindness.
Your light will always shine upon all those whom you have touched in so many indescribable ways.
Rest easy and peacefully.

Dear Mark, Catherine, Patricia, and all Theresa's family and friends,
I am so,so,so sad that Theresa has passed. I offer my deepest condolences to all who will miss her so much.
Theresa was such a bright, shining light. I feel there is a big hole in the universe where she was. But she is still very much with us in spirit, and we have our wonderful memories of time spent with her.
I met Theresa over 35 years ago at Garderie Mont Royal, and we kept in touch over all these years. After Theresa, Terry, Donna and I ( the "Fab Four" as Theresa named us!) left that daycare, we made sure to get together every few months for dinner or brunch - with laughter and great conversations.
Theresa was kind, smart, and warm, with a great sense of humour. She was loved, and will be deeply, deeply missed.
Rest in peace, dear friend. I will miss you very, very much.
Love 💕, Susan

Dear Mark and the Murray family,
I’m praying for you and sending you my deepest sympathies. Theresa was my educator when I was an infant in her and Bernadette’s class. Throughout my childhood and adolescence I spent so many days at the daycare learning from her. I later on got the opportunity to work alongside her. She is forever a part of my family and one of my role models to become an early childhood educator. She always took care of me, taught me and brought me so much joy all throughout my life. I love Theresa dearly and will always be grateful for all my memories of her.

Dearest Theresa, Marc and family,
I can't believe you're gone, too quickly. I will cherish all our brunches, lunches and dinners at the many restaurants and in our homes and our zoom wine we had over the past 30+ years. Terrytheresasusan is one word to me.
So so so many laughs while solving all the problems of the world. Thank God for us!! And they had no idea.
To Marc, please let me know if I can help in any way. I am so sorry for what you are going through. Theresa was very proud of you.
And to Theresa's family, I'm so sorry you are going through this sudden shock.
Peace, Air kiss, Theresa! We'll meet again.
Zoom shots are Terrytheresasusan and I.
And other is a music night October 30th, 2020. Theresa and Marc together. He played, if I am not mistaken, Bobby McGee on his guitar.

Dear Patti and Michael,
What a beautiful obituary penned by what sounds like one special lady, and amazing tributes from her many friends. I am sure that I met her years ago but I wish that I had really known her, lucky for those who did.

Dear Mark, Theresa’s Family, friends and colleagues,

From the bottom of my heart I send you all my deepest condolences for the loss of such a beautiful soul.
Theresa and I met 35yrs ago at TMR Daycare and have been friends ever since. Our shared love and passion for the Habs brought us together and we never let go.
Theresa I will miss your laughter, your witty sense of humour, our inside jokes and fun dinners with the gang.
I am grateful to have had you in my life as a dear friend through many of life’s ups and downs and I’m especially grateful to have been able to tell you, “I Love You”.
May you Rest In Peace, but only until game time when I will join you with a glass of red and ketchup chips.

Forever in my heart ❤️

Your friend,

Terry
