A kind, gentle, humble, compassionate, and pure soul who was always full of life.
Vanessa passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Friday, May 28th 2021.
We had the honor and privilege to have Vanessa in our life - with her contagious laugh and joie de vivre.
She fell in love with her sister Tori at first sight. Vanessa’s role as a big sister was her biggest priority.
Her relationship with Tori was immense; they were like two magnets always drawn together and could never be separated.
They were a perfect fit.
She loved her late great grandfather Nicola Rotiroti, her late grandfathers Vito Romano and Luigi Musacchio and her grandmothers Caterina Romano and Vittoria Musacchio. She considered herself extremely lucky to have been brought up in an Italian family. She was constantly asking her grandparents about their past and wanted to carry on their tradition.
Her aunts and uncles were very special to her. She always looked forward to their visits, embracing the chaos that came with it.
She grew up surrounded by the love of her cousins. She always aspired to be just like them and continuously shared stories
about them with everyone she met; her goal was for the world to know exactly who her cousins were and, for those fortunate enough to hear her stories, she fulfilled that goal.
Hamed, the love of her life, is a wonderful young man who embraced and encouraged Vanessa to be herself and surrounded her with his love, kindness, warmth, and positive energy. They were truly made for each other and we are so happy that they were able to spend the past couple of years together.
She touched the lives of many people that she met during her short life. She considered her friends as her extended family and always looked forward to spending time with them - she had true love for them.
Vanessa loved her mom and dad and was never afraid to express the immense love for them. She was forever affectionate and made sure that they were ok. Her nightly ritual always ended with a big hug that would take their breath away and add “I love you so much momma and I love you poppa”.
We love you baby girl.
