She was predeceased by her daughter Karin Wagner, her partner Douglas Burns, as well as her siblings Hermann and Gertraud (née Schweiger) Zauner, Alfons, Franziska and Maria.
Viktoria was born on September 21, 1937, in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. In 1959, she immigrated to Montreal, Canada, where she worked steadfastly at the Royal Victoria Hospital for 38 years. After her retirement, she gave many more years as a volunteer, both at the Royal Victoria Hospital and later at the MUHC.
She will be lovingly remembered by her niece Evelyn van Eyken (née Zauner), her nephew Edmond Zauner, their respective families, as well as the Burns family and her goddaughter Vanessa.
The family will receive the condoleances on Monday February 16th 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at The Church of Saint John the Baptist Chapel, 233 Sainte-Claire Ave, Pointe-Claire, H9S 4E3
A small ceremony will follow at 11:00 am at the chapel of the church.
