Ishy was born on November 26, 1920 to John and Mary (Ivanisky) Heller in Yonkers, NY. She worked as a Supervisor at Nanflower in Peekskill retiring after more than 35 years of service. Among her many interests, Ishy was an active member of the Cortlandt Seniors Club, Catholic Daughter’s of America, Peekskill, NY and a longtime parishioner of St. Christopher’s Church in Buchanan.
Ishy is survived by her sister-in-law and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a goddaughter. She was predeceased by her sisters; Marge Bertoline, Ida Pearson and Emma Pacia, her two brothers; John and Edward Heller. She was also predeceased by her nephew David Heller.
