

He was predeceased by his beloved partner Lynn Cockin. He was a loving father to son, Donald Villeneuve (Karin), and grandfather to Daniel and Justin; daughter, Diana Villeneuve, and grandfather to Larra, Dylan, and Reese, and great-grandfather to Connor, Arden-Rose, and Hudson; and daughter Gail King Villeneuve (Kirsty).
Don was the beloved son of the late Albert and Orise Villeneuve; brother of Norman Villeneuve (Rose), the late Gilbert Villeneuve (Faye), and Paul Villeneuve (the late Mary).
He worked for the New York City Transit Authority for over 30 years and was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a devoted runner, participating in numerous marathons and ultramarathons, and was a proud member of the Taconic Road Runners Club for more than 25 years. He also enjoyed hiking, reading, classical music and time on his computer.
He brought his legendary endurance to his final battle, fighting cancer with every ounce of strength he had. Don will be remembered for his kind, caring, gentle nature, and his dry sense of humor.
