Josephine Blum known to everyone as Joie and Aunt Joie. Born in the Bronx New York and lived in Montrose New York until moving to Leesburg Florida to enjoy the second half of her life. Joie passed at the age of 101 while resting peacefully at her home. Daughter of Joseph and Catherine Blum and sister to Peg Trillas and Edwin Blum. Joie was Aunt to seven nieces and nephews and Great Aunt to seventeen nieces and nephews. Joie worked as an executive secretary and retired from the Lexington Hill Hospital in Manhattan NY. After retiring to Leesburg Florida she enjoyed the friends she made and doting over her beloved service dogs.
She will be missed, but we know she is being received in heaven by many old friends, her niece Catherine along with her mother, father, sister and younger brother who she has always missed and loved.
