Judi Snyder

Judi was born on August 31, 1943 to Felix and Mary (Grimm) Chicotka in the Bronx, NY. Judi married her beloved husband Edward Snyder on November 4, 1972. They were married for 42 years. Judi was a proud member of the Cortlandt Engine Company Ladies Auxiliary and was an exceptional waitress at various locations throughout the area during her life. Judi had an enormous heart and was an extremely generous person who was loved by all.

Judi is survived by her husband Edward Snyder, cherished children Charlie Schunk, Brian Snyder (Joy), and Tracey Galeno (Paul), adored granddaughters Abby Eileen and Ryan Mary Snyder, her caring brother Richard Chicotka and was loved by many friends. Judi was predeceased by her son Edward Snyder III.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 1-4PM & 7-9PM at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY 10548. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 19th at 10AM St. Christopher’s Church in Buchanan, NY with burial to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Verplanck.
