

Born October 29, 1938 in Verplanck, NY to Peter and Blanche (Bleakley) Dohan. He attended the Hendrick Hudson School District to which he later worked as a Custodian\Bus Driver for over 30 years retiring in 1995.
Marvin had a great sense of humor and loved practical jokes. He was a Life Member of the Buchanan Engine Co. and Former Assistant Chief and member of Ft. Montgomery Fire Dept.
He was an all-around handyman who could fix anything and always had a project to keep him busy. He loved hunting, boating and spending time at his second home in the Adirondack’s.
Survivors include his devoted wife Pat of 58 years; son, Peter Dohan of Verplanck; Daughters, Kelly (Roy) Hesselgrave of Buchanan; Patricia (Brian) Curry of Verplanck and Kim Laug of Highland Falls; sister, Lynn VanTassel of Verplanck and grandchildren, Joe Curry, Melissa Johannsen and Janet Curry, Christine and Randy Hesselgrave, Christopher and Jake Belanger and Alexis Laug. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son-in-law Robert Laug.
Cremation Services will be Private. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
