Richard was a veteran of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. Following his military service, he built a career as a welder working on the Algonquin Pipeline.
Visitation will be held at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose, NY 10548, US, on May 8, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at the Funeral Home at 6:00 pm.
