Inez de Coye

Our dear mother Inez Coye sadly past away on September 19, 2023 at the age of 67, was born on September 10, 1956, in Belize her parents Domingo and Marina. She grew up in Cayo,Belize surrendered by a large family and is the oldest child of six siblings, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters, Domingo Jr , Gustavo , Eric, Clarita, Araceli and Cecilia. Inez had her first child in Belize named Francisco sadly he pass away in 2006.

She came to the United States in the 70s. Then Inez met and married Gilbert Sr. had 2 children named Gilbert Jr. and Adrian. Later separated from her husband & met Guillermo her lifetime partners who she spent her life with to the end.

Inez work for 20+ years as a chef for the sorority houses in USC neighborhood. Inez became sick & lost her kidneys diagnose with Alport syndrome. Struggling with being on dialysis for 1 5 years & received a kidney transplant in 2017.

Inez was an extraordinary, beautiful, courageous, strong loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunty that was very outspoken, love cooking and enjoy creating recipes to share with her family. She also taught most of her family how to cook. Loved baking making cookies, cakes & all types of goodies for her seven grandchildren Xavier, Adrian Jr, Lana, Sarayah, Noam, Kean, & Malia.

It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone.
