Joe Castillo

Joe Castillo, age 73, passed peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2023. He was born in Llano Grande, Jalisco, Mexico on March 1, 1950. Then moved to Brookfield, IL, and eventually built lasting roots in Moreno Valley, CA. He is survived by his loving wife Gabriela Castillo, and lovingly remembered by his sons Luis Castillo and Fernando Castillo, his seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Despite facing numerous challenges, he never wavered in his determination to provide his family with a comfortable life. He worked tirelessly, putting in long hours and making countless sacrifices to ensure his loved ones had everything they needed to thrive and succeed. His unwavering commitment to their well-being was unshakeable, and he derived great joy and satisfaction from seeing them happy and fulfilled. As he continued to give generously of his time, energy, and resources, he found that God rewarded him in kind, bestowing upon him an abundance of blessings and good fortune. He instilled the importance of love, care, and faith in all his family.

A Viewing for Joe will be held Friday, October 27, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Miller Jones Mortuary 23618 Sunnymead Blvd, Moreno Valley, CA. A reception will occur immediately after from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will occur Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, at Miller-Jones Mortuary 23618 Sunnymead Blvd, Moreno Valley, CA. It is followed by a Committal service from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm at Miller Jones Menifee Memorial Park and Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd, Menifee, CA.
