Julio C. Castillo Sr., age 96, of Moreno Valley, California passed away on the morning of Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
Julio is survived by his wife of 75 years, Maria Castillo. He was proceeded in death by his son, Richard Castillo. Julio is survived by his sons Julio (Marci) Castillo Jr. and Robert (Annette) Castillo Sr. and his seven grandchildren; Jasen, Jennifer, Richard, Robert Jr, Michael, Anthony, and Joaquin.
Julio was a Master Barber, and he managed the BX and NCO Club barbershops at March Air Force base for 30 years. He then opened his own barbershop in 1996. He retired in 2014.
Julio is remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is greatly loved and deeply missed.
A visitation for Julio will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Miller Jones Mortuary and Crematory, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd, Moreno Valley, CA 92553. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd, Moreno Valley, CA 92553. A graveside service will occur Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Olivewood Memorial Park, 3300 Central Ave, Riverside, CA 92506. A reception will occur Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd, Moreno Valley, CA 92553.
