Virginia Ann Edwards

Virginia was born to Shedley Frazier and Mary Hill (née Frazier) on November 24, 1948 in Texarkana, Arkansas. As a child, Virginia took on an early passion for sewing and loved caring for her siblings; it was through her caring for her siblings where her love for caring for others manifested.

To many people, Virginia was known for her acts of service. From 1969 until the year of 1971 Virginia operated an in-home day care center. In the year of 1972, Virginia started attending nursing school. She continued her career in nursing until the age of 55 when she retired from Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Virginia also loved cooking, sewing, watching cowboy movies, soap operas, Lifetime and Hallmark movies, and Naked and Afraid. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Virginia is preceded in death by Mary Louise Frazier (mother), Ellis Butler Jenkins (life partner), Kenneth Earl Frazier (brother), Derrick White Sr (son), Derrick White Jr (grandson). She is survived by LaCreasure White (daughter), Baneicia Jenkins (daughter), Adrian Jenkins (son), Shedley Frazier (father), Mary White (granddaughter), Dion White (grandson), Dominique Burnley (granddaughter), Daneille Burnley (granddaughter), Krystal Soto (granddaughter), Aniya Glaspy (great granddaughter), Romello Glaspy (great grandson), Jade Patton (great granddaughter), Symphony Glaspy (great grandson), Janice Delores Tyler (sister), Shedley Frazier Jr. (brother), Shirley Lynn Frazier-Moore (sister), Sheila Louise Frazier (sister), Patrick Dwayne Frazier Sr (brother), Sharon Frazier (sister in law), and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
