Henry Collins, Sr.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 24, 2026 at West St. Mary Civic Center 1472 LA-318 Jeanerette, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the Sorell Community Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his three sons, Henry (Tabitha) Collins, Jr. of Abbeville, Louisiana, Jarron Collins and Chaz Collins, both of Thibodaux, Louisiana; five daughters, Katrina (Ray) Ingram of Patterson, Louisiana, Kalyn Cupid of Houston, Texas, Hennitra Ingram of Thibodaux, Louisiana, Hailey Collins of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Latoya Bobb of Jeanerette, Louisiana; two brothers, William Collins of Katy, Texas, Peter Collins of Jeanerette, Louisiana, Willie Collins of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his sister, Daisy Thomas of Houston, Texas; seventeen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, along with a host of relatives and friends.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Anna Bell Sims Collins and Edward Collins; a brother, James Collins, and his sisters, Claira Mae Celestine and Mary Ann Rhymes.
