He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Lettia "Sunshine" Butler of Morgan City, Louisiana; his mother, Lorraine Butler of Patterson, Louisiana; his sister, Chastity (Markus) Butler Francis and his brother, Dowayne Charlotte, both of Patterson, Louisiana; one son, Kannen K. Paul and his daughter, Khimahni K. Smith, both of Patterson, Louisiana, and his daughter, Anyria Butler of New York, New York; along with a host of relatives and friends.
Kim was preceded in death by his father, Kim Pollard; his fraternal grandparents, James and Joanne Pollard, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Alice G. Butler and Tillman Hall, Sr.; Deborah A. Gray, who was like a second mother to him.
