Dr. Regina Patterson

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at New Zora Baptist Church 604 Julia Street Morgan City, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Eric Dewayne Patterson; granddaughter, Kaia Lyric Asiala Patterson; an uncle, Arther (Juanita) Lagard; sisters, Natalie (Earl) O’Prien Johnson and Yashica (Octavious) Patterson Wiley; a special niece and care-taker, LaSonja Prince; three nieces, three nephews, three great-nieces, two great-nephews, two godchildren, Erica (Benji) Johnson Rose and Charlvette (Marvin) Millican; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Dr. Regina was preceded in death by her father, Henry Wilmer Patterson II; mother, Geraldine Lagard Patterson O’Prien; a sister, Sonja O’Prien Garrett; paternal grandparents, Rev. Henry Charles Ptterson and Emily Johnson Patterson; maternal grandparents, Rev. Almor Joseph Lagard and Nellie Alvis Lagard; special cousins, Kathleen Pack Harrison and Lillian Lagard Beverly.
