She was 87 years young, born February 7, 1928, in Niles, California.
She was the second eldest of William and Emma Montarbo’s six children: Vernon, Bill (William Jr.), deceased, Gilbert, deceased, Ronald, and Maxine Fortino.
She was the loving mother of three: Her sons, Robert and Leslie Howard and her daughter Katherine Avilla.
She was the proud grandmother of three: Grandsons Dane & Nathan Avilla, and her grand-daughter, Alexis Gutierrez.
Sisters Anaelle and Ailie Avilla, her great-grand-daughters in whom she delighted, are the start of a new generation.
And those who married into her family were just as dear to her as her natural family: Robert’s wife Karen, Leslie’s wife Rebecca (Becky), Dane’s wife Jennifer (Jen) and Alexis’ husband Fabian.
Beverly was a longtime member of Crossroads Bible Church on Wright Avenue in Morgan Hill, California, formerly First Assembly of God Church, where she volunteered regularly and attended faithfully for most of her life.
To sum up Beverly’s life, she loved people and she prayed for people.
She loved her God, her family and her friends with all of her heart. She will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
May she rest in peace.
