My sympathies goes out to the Lepera family. Richard was a good man with a big heart. I shared many a good time with Richard working with him preparing food for the Emerald Regime. Our children always were well fed when Richard was in charge. He has left me with a lot of good memories. He will be missed.

Such a wonderful loving man who was generous with his love and time. I will always remember him cooking up a storm and helping to save lLive Oak Highschool's FFA program with various spaghetti feeds etc back in the 80's. My prayers and love go out to his wife, kids family and friends because today we morn the loss of a great man.

Rich was a special friend to Gene and me.  He was always a gentleman to be around.  He will be missed by all who knew him.  I send prayers and sympathy to his family.   Rest peacefully Richard iN the arms of the Lord. It was a special gift to have known you    Carol Cozzitorto

Compadre Richard was a man with a heart of gold! We feel so fortunate to have know him all these years. We will miss u compadre and will always love you!

Richard was a very loyal close friend of mine for the last almost thirty years. I knew him when we were younger but didn't become close until I joined the Gilroy Knights of Columbus in which he was very involved. We worked on many Charitable Functions together. We also went hunting together in Wyoming where he'd rather walk up hill than down because it didn't hurt his knees as much. He was tough as nails and I'll miss him very much. God be with Him. Richard always had a special place in my heart.  His heart is a big as his presence.  I feel fortunate to have known such a special man.  My sympathy goes out to Gloria and the family.

I am sadden to hear of Richards passing.  My sympathy to Gloria and family. Richard was a good man. I met Richard at Live oak High, he was the pushy senior in  the lunch line.  Later he and I worked as Reserve Police Officers for Morgan Hill Police.  Last year I started taking Richard to MHPD retiree luncheons, he enjoyed the retired cops and talking old war stories.  I will miss Richard.
