Sylvia was such a special woman. She cared deeply about people, her community, and her country. Sylvia was a strong example for justice to those around her. The power of that one tiny woman made so many lives better. She made San Martin a community to be proud of. I miss her deeply, and will always be grateful for the many ways she helped me .

What a gracious person and a bright light. I can't help but find joy in the reunion she has now had with her children. Bless her heart. Although I only briefly knew her, her presence was so warm.
