She was born July 1, 1939 in Albany, NY to the late Francis Schottenham and Katheryn Vadney. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. King and two daughters, Cathy Loucks and Christina LaPasta.
Surviving Ms. King are her daughter, Carla Dover and husband, Michael of the home; a son-in-law, Robert Loucks of Westerlo, NY; one brother, Donald Schottenham and wife, Michelle and their son, Brian all of Troy, NY; and three grandchildren, Melinda Butler, Nicole Butler and Jamie Butler, Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Salem United Methodist Church in Morganton with Rev. Mark Confortia and Rev. Donald Freshour officiating.
