Cecile Corinne McKinney Williams

Cecile “Moe” McKinney Williams, age 58, went home to be with her Lord at her residence on February 28 2019 after many years of being homebound: Her family rejoices as she is free from all pain and suffering.

Moe is survived by her husband, Virgil Williams; Mother, Bobbe McKinney; brothers, Mike McKinney; and Mark McKinney; Sister’s, Margaret Abernathy and Celisa “Abby” McKinney as well as many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her father, Cecil McKinney and brother, Cecil “Nebby” McKinney; as well as her dear aunt Marilyn “Pat” James.

Moe enjoyed keeping in touch with people and was well known for her just to say "hello” phone calls.

Mo liked to do crafts and crossword puzzles and call folks on the telephone. Her love of people and infectious laugh will be missed. She was always doing/giving little things to brighten your day. Moe never forgot birthdays, anniversaries etc. Cecile was a member of Lighthouse Ministries in Drexel, NC.

A "Homecoming" memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 8, 2019 in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home with Pastor Donna O’Neil officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton has the honor of serving the family.
