She was born to the late Murrel Settlemyre and Katie Reep Settlemyre on April 18, 1940 in Burke Co.
Glenda was a member of First Church of God, Drexel. She loved to plant flowers in her yard, and enjoyed knitting and weaving. Before retiring from Burke Co. Department of Social Services as a Medicaid caseworker, Glenda was a registered dietitian for local hospitals in Mecklenburg Co.
In addition to her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Williams.
Those left to cherish her memories include her daughter; Heather Hamilton (Greg), sister; Betsy Goodnight (Jerry), and a niece Noelle Penley (Jeff). A special thanks to Greg Hamilton for all of his help with Glenda we could not have done anything without you.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2022 at Drexel First Church of God Cemetery.
