Jeffrey Randall Wells Sr.

Jeffrey “Jeff” Randall Wells Sr., age 67, of Morganton rose up to be with his Heavenly Father Saturday, June 2, 2018. Jeff was born on May 1, 1951, in St. Petersburg, FL, to the late A. B. Wells and Elise Olsen Wells.

Mr. Wells graduated from Northeast High School, class of 1969, in St. Petersburg. For many years he worked as a Registered Nurse at Bayfront Health and Ed White Hospital both of St. Petersburg, and Valdese General Hospital and McDowell Hospital.

In addition to his parents, Jeff is preceded in death by his brother Dale Wells.

Jeff is survived by his son, Jeffrey Wells Jr. of Morganton, two daughters, Elise (Leith) Hembree of Glen Alpine, and Nicole (Brian) Stacks of Newton, brother, Wayne (Lori) Wells of Clearwater FL, and grandchildren Riley, Bailey and Paisley Hembree, Jared and Tony Wells, and Ashlie Stacks.

A memorial service will be held at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Morganton, on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at 6:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 pm.
