John Lamont Mullins

John was born the son of the late Eugene Mullins and Mary Green Mullins on August 19, 1943 in Miami, Florida. Before his retirement, John was an owner of Statewide Roofing in Fort Lauderdale for many years.

Along with his parents, John is preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Mullins, Jr. and a sister, Marjorie Mullins.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include a daughter, Sandra Mullins Gott; a son, John L. Mullins, Jr.; two granddaughters, Morgan S. Gott and Kacey M. Mullins; two brothers, Kenneth and Charles Mullins; and three sisters, Judith Mullins Foster, Mary Mullins Barrett, and Barbara Mullins Moseley. Also surviving are numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 in the memorial chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home with J.R. Richards serving as celebrant. Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
