Mary E. Newman, age 73, of Hickory, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born April 12, 1944 in Washington, PA to the late Frank Dreamer and Leona White Dreamer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Earl William “Bill” Newman; and a son, Bob Newman.
Mrs. Newman was retired and a member of Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witness.
Survivors include a son, Don Newman and wife Amanda; daughter, Carol Newman, all of Hickory; two brothers, Don Dreamer and Frank Dreamer, both of Virginia; and three grandchildren, Maryellen Reimers, Alyssa Newman, and Zayne Newman.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 750 21st St. Dr. SE, Hickory, NC 28602 conducted by Brother Ervin Thompson.
