Mary Wall Lawrence

Born May 17, 1947 in Burke County to the late Raymond and Bertha Rogers Wall.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Peggy Roberts.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who adored her grandchildren. She attended Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband Carl Lawrence of the home; her son Shane Lawrence and wife Tyra of Concord; her daughter Tracy Lawrence of Morganton; her sisters Jean Clement and Pansy Patton; grandchildren Marcus, Austin, Ronesha and Sabrina Lawrence.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 31, 2010 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Kirksey Funeral Home in Morganton.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 12:30pm at Kirksey Funeral Home with Reverend George Williams officiating.

Entombment will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
