Nathaniel Wilson

Mr. Nathaniel Wilson, 87, of Morganton, passed away, Monday, January 7, 2013. Born February 5, 1925, in Burke County, he was a son of the late Mack Wilson and Janie Mae Peterson Wilson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson was also preceded in death by a brother, John A. Wilson and a sister, Alice W. Carter. Mr. Wilson served as a Truck Driver for Morganton Hardware Store for many years.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Euria Grier Wilson, of Morganton;

A sister, Mary Sue Ervin, of Morganton;

An aunt, Rosa Lee Max, of Morganton;

Four nephews and a niece, John W. Wilson & wife, Clorene,

Jesse Allan Wilson & wife, Antonia,

Mildred S. Conley & husband, Edward all of Morganton and

William N. Wilson & wife, Sherry, of Lancaster, SC;

A host of great nieces and nephews also survive Mr. Wilson.

Funeral Services for Mr. Wilson will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 12, 2013, in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home, Morganton, with the Reverend Herbert Carter officiating. Interment will follow at the Olive Hill Cemetery, Morganton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
