Pamela Elizabeth (Branch) Cansler

Pamela Elizabeth Cansler, age 66, of Lenoir, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. She was born the daughter of the late Festus Branch and Lucy Freeman Branch on September 13, 1957 in Burke County, NC.

Pamela was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed. Pamela loved like no other, always stood by her family, and shared the "Word of God" like no other. Her love for God was truly beautiful. It shined through her daily.

Along with her parents, Pamela is preceded in death by a brother, Gary Branch.

Those left behind to cherish Pamela's memory include three children, Andrea Woods (Preston) of Hudson, Tonya Everhart (Tony) of Morganton, and Anton Dutton of Greenville, SC; six grandchildren, Taylor Cannon, Madison Dutton, Gavin Roper, Gabrielle Woods, Kaylee Dutton and Jaxon Dutton; six sisters, Dianne York, Norma Wheeler, Cathy Triplett, Christine Austin, Debbie Avery and Aggie DeHetre. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the Kirksey Funeral Home. A "Celebration of Pamela's Life" will follow in the funeral home's chapel at 3:00 pm with Pastor John Jernigan. Pamela will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Park (2017 Wilkesboro Blvd in Lenoir, NC).
