Patricia Dianne (Logan) Lloyd

Dianne was born June 3, 1952 in Burke County to the late John Logan, Sr. and Margarie Logan.

Dianne affectionately known as “DeeDee” graduated from Oak Hill High School. She was an active and faithful member of Hartland Church of God and served as the Church Secretary. She was also a member and secretary of the Hartland Church of God Gospel Choir. She was the treasurer for the American Legion Auxiliary Post 506. Also, she was a member of the NAACP and worked for Blue Ridge Community Action for 50 years. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece and grandmother whom will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Richard A. Lloyd, Sr.; brothers, John Logan, Jr. James Logan, Ogbonna El Bey , Harold Logan, and Wayne Logan, and a sister, Helen Kincaid.

Those left to cherish her memory is her son, Richard A. Lloyd, Jr. and wife, Pa; her grandson, Malikai L. Lloyd; her brother Ned Logan; her sister, Carolyn Logan, her sister in laws (more like sisters), Mary Lloyd, Pat Lloyd, and Anita Lloyd and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 3 to 4 pm at Hartland Church of God 3646 Piney Rd, Morganton NC 28655. Funeral services will follow at 4pm with Pastor Mitchell Brittain officiating.

Burial will be held in the Hartland Church of God Cemetery.
