Shirley Ann Fisher

Born July 23rd, 1940 Shirley was the daughter of the late Julia and Paul McClellan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Fisher, a sister, Opal Lee McClellan, and brothers Paul McClellan Jr, Rick McClellan and Doug McClellan.

Shirley was a faithful servant of her Lord, and a member of Burkemont Baptist church since 1967. She enjoyed hiking, travel, and her family.

She graduated from nursing school at Western Piedmont Community College in 1977 and worked at Broughton Hospital for nearly 30 years.

Surviving are: her sisters Betty Kesterson, Shelby Jean Sprinkle, and Pauline McClellan, brother Daniel McClellan (Nancy) her son Michael Fisher (Lynn), granddaughter Samantha Anne Fisher, great grandchildren Bowen and Shannon and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Burkemont Baptist Church Cemetery in Morganton NC.
