Betty Dingus Rector, age 71, of Jefferson City, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 11, 2010 at her son’s home. She attended Oak Hills Baptist Church of Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rector; parents, George and Rosie Dingus; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her son, Ricky (Donna) Kellis; grandchildren, Joshua Kellis and Nikki (Todd) Synamon; great-grandchildren, Rachel Moriah, Christopher Isaac, Haleigh Nichole Synamon; sisters, Barbara McClain and Christine Fultz; special nieces, Lisa Crawley and Patricia Yeary; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Greg Shelton and Rev. Brian Rhodes officiating. Family and friends will gather on Friday at 1:50 p.m. in Hamblen Memory Gardens for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 – 8:00 p.m. prior to the services.
