Betty Jean Jennings Williams, age 82, of Morristown, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019. She was a member of Morristown East Congregation, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Preceding her in death was her husband, Willie C. Williams Sr.; son, Shaun Marcus Williams; parents, Robert L. and Maida I. Jennings; and siblings, Robert Jennings, Jr., Gerald A. Jennings, and Gwendolyn June Jennings.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Willie C. and Renee Williams of Geneva, IL; very special and devoted granddaughter, Jasmine J. Williams of Geneva, IL; sisters, Aljonette (Charles) Jackson of Spruce Pine, NC and Silvia Thompson of Morristown; devoted niece, Tracey Thompson Kyle of Morristown; special cousins, Mary Lee Astin of Atlanta, GA and Audrey Brooks of Oak Ridge; and sister-in-law, Birda-Kate Harrison of Atlanta, GA. Betty also leaves to cherish her memory a host of loving cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as the staff at Heritage Rehabilitation.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Dan Trinco officiating. Committal service will be in Hamblen Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be James J. Thompson, Jr., R. Michael Jennings, Michael Villeda, Stanley Hampton, Larry Hampton, Anthony Kyle, Chad Hembree, and Scott Brooks.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the American Heart Association.
